Share your story. Build your confidence. Be heard.
Our next Voices of Recovery workshop series begins on Wednesday 6th May and runs every Wednesday for six weeks, ending on Wednesday 10th June.
This free workshop is open to anyone in the recovery community who wants to gain confidence, learn to tell their story, and speak publicly about their lived experience in a safe, supportive environment.
Could you:
- Share your experiences of addiction and recovery to help raise awareness and change perceptions?
- Go into services to speak with people struggling with addiction, to offer guidance and hope?
- Join a working group who develop new ideas for sharing our messages, such as podcasts and website articles?
- Help create, develop and deliver training and workshops to a range of professionals?
This course is a great step for anyone in recovery who wants to learn the art of storytelling while gaining confidence in public speaking.
Wednesdays, 6th May - 10th June.
Time: 10.30am – 3.00pm (last session runs until 4.00pm and includes a final sharing of speeches)
Location: Chelmsford
Whether you want to speak at events, advocate for recovery, or simply build self-confidence and presentation skills, this workshop will guide you through the process in a relaxed and empowering setting.
