Employability Skills Course (Starting 8th October)

Location: Chelmsford Quaker Meeting House
Start Date: Thursday, 8th October (runs weekly, every Thursday until Thursday 19th November)

The course is facilitated by Chelmsford College and is supported in its delivery to the recovery community by Phoenix Futures, Open Road and Essex Recovery Foundation.

What is the Building Confidence & Employability Skills Course?

This essential programme helps you to develop key employability skills, including reflecting on your progress, setting personal goals and working confidently as part of a team. You will learn how to find suitable job and volunteering opportunities and create strong applications that show your strengths. The course also teaches essential workplace health and safety so you can stay safe and understand your responsibilities. Practical numeracy skills are built in to help you handle everyday tasks you may face at work. A counsellor will also support you with exploring mental health, building self-care routines, and learning helpful tools to support your personal journey.

  • Anyone in recovery looking to boost their confidence through structured support
